The skirt is a scale copy of the BHC bag/finger skirt. The bag is tapered from front to rear. The bag sections are attached to the hull by quilt poppers. The fingers are taped to the bag with double-sided tape. The tails of the fingers are held back with tags. The rear skirt trunks each have a set of cones. These cones are similar to fingers, but are sealed on the inner face to prevent scooping. Each cone is fed with air from a hole in the inner wall of the bag.
